NAACP ApplicationName: Lance Lillidge Position: US Senator, California Position You Are Seeking: President of the United States1.If elected, what will you do to improve racial equality in the United States? If elected, I will promote an agenda that includes permanently extending the Voting Rights Act of 1965. I will also propose that election days become a national holiday so that citizens do not have to choose between earning money to pay the bills and participating in government. 2.What is your stance on affirmative action and crime prevention and punishment? As President, I will push for a major crime bill that addresses crime prevention and punishment. I believe that we need to increase funding for the construction of more prisons so that we can keep violent criminals off the streets. I will also be an advocate for rehabilitation programs for the non-violent including job training courses and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Most African-Americans today are in our jails and prisons due to drug violations. I believe that if we promote inner city development and rehabilitation, we can reduce the number of African-Americans in our prison system. I will promote legislation that punishes hate crimes and makes racial profiling illegal. I do not believe in hiring quotas but I do support anti-discrimination laws that protect every American citizen in the workplace. 3. What if anything would you do when elected to fight poverty in poor areas of America? As President, I will ask Congress to pass an Inner City and Rural Economic Development plan. I envision this plan to include tax breaks to businesses that build or expand already functioning business in areas that are at a economic disadvantage. I have also introduced a bill in the United States Senate that calls for fair pay for all regardless of race or gender. I will also ask Congress to pass an Inner City College Tax Credit for those families that live in inner cities and have children enrolled in college.

Phil Strunk Seantor President of the United States
1.If elected, what will you do to improve racial equality in the United States? I will put Black people in government positions. Racism is something that should have died out a long time ago. I will fight it and do my very best to end it.
2.What is your stance on affirmative action and crime prevention and punishment? Affirmative action can be beneficial in most cases, there are some extremely smart black people that never would have had a chance if it weren't for affirmative action. I would also increase money in crime education to prevent crime, and keep kids off the street.
3. What if anything would you do when elected to fight poverty in poor areas of America? I will work with my advisers to find ways to help the people as a whole, and by helping all you are helping the poor.

Name: Jonathan Surratt Position: Senator Position You Are Seeking: Potus
1.If elected, what will you do to improve racial equality in the United States? I would make sure Affirmative Action laws are inforced, and permanently extend the Voting Rights Act of 1965
2.What is your stance on affirmative action and crime prevention and punishment? I believe for an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. However we must curb the growing African American Population in Prison. Almost 2/3's of inmates are African Americans. If elected I will present programs that help the inmate learn a new job or trade so he or she is able to get a job when he or she is released
3. What if anything would you do when elected to fight poverty in poor areas of America? I believe that these Americans need to stand up for themselves. However as president I will create job retraining programs that allow these unfortunate citizens to get a job
On a final note I would like to remind the NAACP who faught for the African American to be abolished from Slavery. IT was the Republican Party. I would also like to remind the NAACP that Theodore Roosevelt, one of Americas greatest President Dinned with the first African American in the Whitehouse.. Booker T. Washington. I would like to carry on the traditions of Presidents Roosevelt and Lincoln and I hope the NAACP Will endorse me.

Name: James Rottnek Position: Senator Position You Are Seeking: President of the United States
1.If elected, what will you do to improve racial equality in the United States? I will appoint qualified African Americans, as well as other minorities, to government positions. I will not discriminate against any race when I am choosing who to appoint. I will crack down on corporations who have a racial bias in hiring and promotions and raises and bonuses.
2.What is your stance on affirmative action and crime prevention and punishment? I believe that affirmative action is often reverse racism. I believe that any group of strong people, people capable of doing things for themselves, does not need affirmative action. I do however support laws forbidding discrimination based on race. As far as crime prevention and punishment, I believe we need to rebuild our inner cities and that I will only appoint federal judges who I know for a fact will not issue a worse punishment for anyone based on race.
3. What if anything would you do when elected to fight poverty in poor areas of America? I will work to get job training programs funded by Congress, so that people can be able to obtain jobs better, which will fight poverty. I will also work to get small business loans and grants created for poor areas. I will work to pass bills making college educations tax deductible, and creating scholarships, so that people in poor areas can afford for a better education.

Name: Charles Joseph Clark Position: Class 1 Senator from Maryland Position You Are Seeking: Democratic Nominee for the President of the United States/President of the United States.
1. If elected, what will you do to improve racial equality in the United States?
As I have shown in the early stages of my campaign equality will be a major issue in my presidency if elected.
2. What is your stance on affirmative action and crime prevention and punishment?
Affirmative action should be legislation that is unneeded in the modern era. Unfortunately due to the levels of discrimination currently seen it is a necessary to ensure equality. Crime prevention and punishment should be based around the fundamental principals of the United States of America, which include full respect for an individual’s civil liberties. Crime punishment should be based more around rehabilitation rather than the current system that is overly dependant methods that do not address the social issues that many criminals are facing.
3. What if anything would you do when elected to fight poverty in poor areas of America?
The leading point for my campaign has been proper economic management. This will include combating outsourcing, and creating a level playing field for American workers and those in countries such as India and China. By combating outsourcing we can bring more jobs back to America and curb poverty. Furthermore, by implementing fiscally responsible government we will have more focused and properly funded social programs.
