Phil Strunk Senator President of the United States
1. Would you take a pledge not to raise any taxes if elected? I would and I would take it a step further. I would cut taxes, if elected.
2. What type of tax policy do you believe is best for the economy? A low tax policy. Taxes do not need to be as high as they are now, if we just cut down on frivolous government programs we can lower taxes.
3. Why should the average taxpayer trust you to keep his taxes low?
Because I am a fellow tax payer and I do not like paying taxes. They will see after I cut numerous frivolous programs that they can trust me. They can also look at my record and see that I always voted for tax cuts.

Name: Mike Irvine Position: Senator from Virginia Position You Are Seeking: President of the United States
1. Would you take a pledge not to raise any taxes if elected?
Yes, I will. By implementing the FairTax proposal, the tax burden can be drastically reduced on the average American. Even if that proposal is defeated by Congress, I will still do my best to lower taxes significantly.
2. What type of tax policy do you believe is best for the economy?
I believe that the FairTax policy is the best for the economy, as it keeps most money in the hands of the American people, who I have always seen as better managers of their own money than the American government. I believe that a person's paycheck is their own to use as they wish, and that it should not be taxed for any reason, which is one of the main reasons for my support of the FairTax plan.
3. Why should the average taxpayer trust you to keep his taxes low?
For the reasons stated above. As I have already said, the FairTax proposal will lower the burden on the average taxpayer, allowing him to keep most of his money and spend it, invest it, or use it in any way which he sees fit.

Name: Jonathan Surratt Position: Senator Position You Are Seeking: POTUS
1. Would you take a pledge not to raise any taxes if elected? Yes I would. 2. What type of tax policy do you believe is best for the economy? I believe that the Fair Tax or Sales Tax is the best for the economy. It makes sure every American pays his or her taxes and it makes the month of April a happy instead of dreadful month. 3. Why should the average taxpayer trust you to keep his taxes low? I have never voted for a tax increase in my life. In fact upon setting foot into the whitehouse a tax cut bill will already be on the Floor of the House of Representitives.
