1. What is you position on union rights? What if any restrictions would you support on unions? No restrictions, Unions have a square deal for the worker
2. What will you do, if elected, to support American laborers and create higher paying jobs for American workers? Legislation increasing the minimum wage, pull out of NAFTA, and keep American jobs in America
3. In a short paragraph; why should American laborers support you over your opponents? I look out for the worker, I want to pull out of NAFTA, I want to raise the minimum wage, and I do not sell out to Big Business. The people that should have lower taxes are the workers, not the Fat Cats.

1. What is you position on union rights? What if any restrictions would you support on unions? I believe I am the only Republican to support unions. I would support no restrictions on unions unless the Unions mislead the worker. 2. What will you do, if elected, to support American laborers and create higher paying jobs for American workers? Many of you wonder why your jobs are being outsourced over seas... this is because your company is paying the highest corporate taxes in the land. First I would slash your companies taxes. After that I would raise minimum wage to a living wage. 3. In a short paragraph; why should American laborers support you over your opponents? I am the only Republican Candidate to offer a real solution to the growing unemployment problem in America. I will also raise the minium wage. I will make sure American Jobs Stay in America

Name: Lance Lillidge Position: US Senator, CA Position Desired: President of the United States1. What is you position on union rights? What if any restrictions would you support on unions? Unions allow workers to collectively express their voices to employers on working conditions, healthcare, pensions, and other benefits. And the benefits lead to better lives for working Americans. Women who belong to a union earn 31% more than women workers who are not union members. That's an extra $179 a week, and $9,300 more every year. Workers who are union members are twice as likely to have employer health coverage. Union families that pay insurance premiums for their coverage pay 36% less than their counterparts, saving them almost $1,300 a year. I support unions! They helped build America in the last century and will be a big part in continuing to build a New American Century! 2. What will you do, if elected, to support American laborers and create higher paying jobs for American workers? My plan would allow employees who want to organize can do so without interference and ensures there's time for reasonable negotiations, but it does not allow one side to act in bad faith and string employees along in a never-ending process that's designed to block their ability to self-organize. For the union workers in America that have already lost jobs during the Bush Administration, I propose a worker re-education program that will train workers with new skills so that they will qualify for high paying jobs with benefits. 3. In a short paragraph; why should American laborers support you over your opponents? I believe that my Fair Trade policies will benefit the working American. We need to renegotiate the so called free trade agreements that we have entered in and restructure them so that those agreements are fair to Americans. This will help stop the outsourcing of jobs to overseas markets. The American worker drives this economy and I will look out for them.
Name: Joseph Clark Position: US Senator (Class 1) MD Position Desired: Dem. Nominee for the Office of President of the United States/Office of President of the United States
1. What is you position on union rights? What if any restrictions would you support on unions?
Unions provide a valuable service towards protecting workers rights. Unions are entitled to operate in accordance with current laws and regulations that are in place. Furthermore, I have recently Co-sponsored the Employee Free Choice Act which will allow for greater ease in the establishment of Unions, and enable a greater level of punishment for employers who are using unlawful labour particles.
2. What will you do, if elected, to support American labourers and create higher paying jobs for American workers?
I will establish a level playing field between American workers, and those outside of the country to ensure more jobs are brought into America. The competitive advantages, namely lower wages, in countries such as China are driving down wages in America. This out sourcing needs to stop. I will push for the Employee Free Choice Act to enacted as quickly as possible.
3. In a short paragraph; why should American labourers support you over your opponents?
Unions provide an invaluable service to workers when they work in cooperation with companies to address issues I will make it a major point to push for further cooperation between Unions, the state, and industry to properly protect American Labourers. Of all the candidates I have the most economic experience, and training. Having studied at Princeton, the London School of Economics, and the University of Chicago I spent a great deal of time studying the impact of Unions on the economy. Finally I have the strongest, economic platform of all the candidates. I understand that labourers, and companies have one of the same common needs for their livelihoods; a strong economy. If elected I will bring America back to having strong economic growth, and fiscal responsibility.
