Biography: Emmelline Warner (nee Fox) was born in rural Montana in 1949 to Robert and Lynn Fox and was their only child. Her father was a banker whilst her mother was a homemaker, home life was difficult with her and her mother rarely seeing her father. When Emmelline was 12, her father's banking company suffered a massive loss and he was found to have committed suicide, the resulting financial situation was difficult as her mother took up several odd jobs working in secretarial positions. Money sent Emmelline to Cambridge University on a political science scholarship when her mother had made an investment in an acting firm which went lucky and resulted in her becoming a rich woman.
When Emmelline returned from Cambridge she worked for several local and statewide politicians before becoming Chief of Staff to the Mid West Governor, when one of the Montana Senator's resigned due to a scandal she ran in the run off election and won
