They most certainly do have a legal right to exist, and if elected I wish to increase relations with them.

Only if the Prime Minister of Israel agreed and was there.
3. What have you done to advance Israel's cause and support Israel?
I have always spoken greatly of the nation of Israel. I have never voted for someone con-Israel, I don't even know how people can be against such a great nation like Israel. I have always defended Israel in the United States Senate.

Name: Mike Irvine Position: Senator from Virginia Position Seeking: President of the United States of America
1. Do you believe Israel has an unalienable and legal right to exist?
Yes, I do. If elected president, I will do my best to ensure that our Israeli allies are secure from any threat to their peace and existence, and will strive to cooperate with them more than ever before in the War on Terror.
2. If elected President would you sit down with leaders of Hamas, or Hezbollah?
One of my basic principals which I have always had is that diplomacy should come before fighting and warfare. Unfortunately, those two groups have been given the opportunity, numerous times, to make peace with Israel and America, and yet have chosen not to. I feel that since the offer of diplomacy has already been extended to those groups, and they have shown no interest in it, we should not attempt to pursue that option with them any longer unless a serious change in their behavior becomes evident.
3. What have you done to advance Israel's cause and support Israel?
During my time in the Navy, I commanded the U.S. Second Fleet, which has the Middle East as one of its areas of responsibility. Due to this, I have commanded operations, both directly and indirectly, in support of Israel, and in cooperation with our friends in the IDF. I have always supported the Israeli State, and have fought for it during my entire term as a Senator.
